Two Of England’s Most Explosive Strikers Set To Face Off ….In Connecticut

According to an initial report from ESPN that was later confirmed by MMA Fighting, Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley and Michael ‘Venom’ Page are finally going to duke it out in the cage. These two are two of the most dynamic and devastating strikers in Mixed martial arts today. and the bitter rivals will finally face off in neutral territory in what is sure to be a barn burner for the ages at a Bellator event February 16 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.

The bout between Daley and MVP  will serve as one of the quarterfinal bouts in the Bellator Welterweight World Grand Prix tournament. The winner of the bout will challenge former champion Douglas Lima in the semifinals.




In his most recent bout, Page (13-0), a world title holder in kickboxing, defeated the very talented David Rickels by opening a huge cut over Rickels’ left eye, Forcing him to verbally submit at Bellator 200.



Daley (40-16-2), who also boasts an impressive kickboxing record of 21-3, is looking rebound from a loss and get back in the winners circle after  dropping a unanimous decision to former UFC title challenger and WSOF welterweight champion Jon Fitch in May.

Many MMA fans are a bit dumbfounded as to why this fight is not taking place in England, as it would be sure to draw a huge crowd given both of their fan bases there. But one thing is for sure, this fight is sure to be a crowd pleaser and very unlikely to go to a judge’s decision.
